University of South Asia Lahore
The University of South Asia or USA is a private university located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It was established in 1987 as a computer training institution with the name of National College of Computer Sciences. The university has Faculty of Law; it only offers one undergraduate degree for 5 years as LLB in law and one graduate degree Masters in Law.
Bachelors in Law
The Bachelors in Law is a 5-year professional degree program, is approved by Pakistan Bar Council, as well as by the Punjab Bar Council. The degree awarded is recognized by HEC and accepted world-wide. It is 166 credit hours program with no thesis. Students have to complete a project. As it is a lengthy program with 8 semesters and project, the subjects include:
- Human rights Law
- Constitutional Law
- Islamic Jurisprudence
- Law of Contract
- Law of Torts
- Public International Law
- Civil Procedure
- Criminal Procedure
Master is Law
The Masters in Law Program is a 2 year degree program, the degree awarded is recognized by HEC and Pakistan Bar Council accepted world-wide. Currently, we hold the unique status of highest number of legal professionals from the Bench and the Bar enrolled in our program.
