Juris Doctor

University of New South Wales JD is a flexible postgraduate degree that provides the basis for admission to legal practice in Australia, as well as a wide range of careers in government, business, legal and social policy, as well as international relations.  The JD is a graduate entry professional law degree for graduates of disciplines other than law, or with a law degree from an overseas institution. Besides that, students will study 17 compulsory courses and seven elective law courses. The degree will provide the depth and breadth of knowledge to set you apart in today’s competitive careers market.

Master of Laws (LL.M)

The University of New South Wales Master of Laws (LL.M) is a flexible, world-class postgraduate program that offers graduates the opportunity to develop an advanced and contemporary understanding of one or more areas of legal study, to ultimately acquire further expertise and enhance career prospects. In this one-year degree you will take eight elective courses from a wide range of options and undertake at least one research-based project,

The University of New South Wales UNSW LL.M is open to law and non-law graduates. Students applying to the program with a non-law degree, or with a law degree from a non-common law country will need to incorporate compulsory core courses into their program.
