University of Virginia School of Law is located at Charlottesville city and founded in 1819 in Virginia. University of Virginia School of Law ranked 9 in American law schools. The law faculty has established the following learning outcomes for Virginia’s J.D. program of legal education.  The three years program is designed or students. And they will come to understand and be able to apply key principles of law in advanced legal topics, such as business organization and finance, commercial law, communication and media law, constitutional law, criminal justice, employment and labor law.

Virginia’s Graduate Studies Program provides an American legal education to lawyers who have obtained their first law degree in their home countries. It offers to LL.M program

LL.M Program

Virginia’s LL.M. program is a full-time master of laws program that students complete in residence in one year (two semesters). The Law School does not predetermine the curriculum; rather, LL.M. students can pursue their own interests in legal study. Students are required to take a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester and successfully complete at least 24 hours to be awarded the degree. Almost all classes offered at Virginia are open to LL.M. students,

The tuition and fee is different for students living is Virginia and non Virginia residents.  The Virginia students will have to pay total fee is $85,596 and for others is $88,596 with $80 application fee.

The Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) Program

The Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) is the most advanced degree conferred by the University Of Virginia School Of Law. It is designed for highly qualified, independent students who wish to pursue an extended program of research under the supervision of a faculty member, leading to the submission of a dissertation that makes an original and substantial contribution to legal scholarship.

The School of Law’s S.J.D. program is intended primarily for aspiring legal academics. Graduates have joined the faculty of law schools and universities in many countries, including Canada, China, Egypt, Ghana, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Japan, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Taiwan, the United Kingdom and the United States. Others have pursued careers in international organizations, governments and private practice worldwide. The fee for all students is $8,800.
